No productivity or income promise; a working second brain lowers the "where did I put that?" tax - the rest is yours. Not tool-locked and not affiliated with Notion; works in Notion, Obsidian, or any Markdown folder.

If your notes live in five apps and you still can't find the one you need, the problem isn't you - it's the lack of a system. In this small, hands-on workshop you build a second brain you'll actually keep: capture without chaos, notes you can always find again, and a simple weekly habit that holds it together.

It's a working system and the habit to run it, taught honestly in one live session. No productivity hype, no coding, and nothing tool-locked - what you build works in Notion, Obsidian, or any plain Markdown folder.

What you get

  • A second brain you actually keepYou build a small, real vault during the session - not a demo you abandon - structured so capture stays fast and notes stay findable.
  • Live session, recorded and yoursOne live workshop of about three hours, recorded so you keep the replay to revisit any step later.
  • Capture templates that stop the chaosReady templates for getting things in quickly without scattering them, so nothing lands in five places at once.
  • A weekly-review checklistA short routine that turns the vault from a one-day setup into a habit you can keep with minutes, not hours.
  • An index and map-of-contentA simple navigation layer so you can always find a note again instead of searching blindly through everything.
  • A tag scheme you'll actually maintainA deliberately small, sane tagging approach designed to survive real use rather than collapse after a week.
  • An offline vault auditorA free offline tool, vault_audit.py, plus a real on-disk sample vault to audit, so you can check your vault's health on your own machine.

Format and schedule

  • One live session, around three hours, hands-on - you build alongside, not just watch
  • Small cohort: maximum 15 people, so questions get real answers
  • Recorded - the replay is yours to keep and revisit
  • No coding required and nothing to install for the workshop itself
  • The offline auditor (vault_audit.py) runs locally on your own computer

What you will build and leave with

  • A small, working second brain you've actually set up - not slides about one
  • Capture templates, a weekly-review checklist, and an index / map-of-content
  • A tag scheme small enough that you'll keep maintaining it
  • The offline auditor plus a real sample vault to practise auditing on
  • A repeatable habit, so the system survives past day one

Who it is for and the honest note

  • Beginners welcome - if you can keep notes in a folder, you can do this
  • This is a system and a habit, honestly taught: no productivity or income promise
  • A working second brain lowers the 'where did I put that?' tax - the rest of the value is what you do with it
  • Not tool-locked and not affiliated with Notion: works in Notion, Obsidian, or any Markdown folder
  • You leave with a real skill and a finished artifact, not a guarantee of being more productive

Right for you if…

  • You take messy notes everywhere and keep losing track of where you put things.
  • You want a small, maintainable second brain plus the weekly-review habit, not a giant overhauled system.
  • You use Notion, Obsidian, or any plain Markdown folder and want a setup that works across all three.
  • You learn better in a small, hands-on live session and value keeping the recording to replay later.

Probably skip it if…

  • Skip it if you want a productivity or income guarantee; this only lowers the time you spend hunting for things, nothing more.
  • Skip it if you only want pre-built templates to download, since this is a live, hands-on workshop capped at 15 people.
  • Skip it if you expect official Notion features or affiliation, because it is not tool-locked and not affiliated with Notion.

Questions

Do I need Notion, or any specific app?

No. This isn't tool-locked and we're not affiliated with Notion. What you build works in Notion, Obsidian, or any plain Markdown folder, so you can use whatever you already have or prefer.

Do I need to know how to code?

No coding is required. The workshop is all hands-on setup. The only tool, vault_audit.py, is run with a simple command on your own machine, and we walk through it together.

Will this make me more productive?

We don't promise that, and we won't. A working second brain lowers the 'where did I put that?' tax by keeping notes findable - the rest is up to you and how you use it. You leave with a real, finished system and the habit to run it.

How is it delivered, and can I get a refund?

You join one live session of about three hours and keep the recording, the templates, the checklist, and the auditor with its sample vault. If it's not right for you, there's a fair 48-hour refund.

Build a second brain you'll actually keep - in one live afternoon, for the price of a coffee.
